It's that time again...Kindergarten Registration packets are now available in the office. Kindergarten Registration will take place on Friday, March 9 from 7:30-11:00am in the Gym. Anyone wanting to register their child after 11:00am Friday, March 9, 2010 must go to the Registrar’s office at the Board Office to complete the registration of their child(ren).
Just a reminder that the Avon Lake PTA Council is presenting a showing of the acclaimed film “Race to Nowhere” on Monday, Febrary 20
th, at the Avon Lake City Schools Performing Arts Center. This powerful film, which addresses the disturbing consequences of the hectic and pressurized lives of students, parents, and educators today, has had a profound impact on all who have seen it. The film has only been available for screening in select locations around the country. PTA Council is sponsoring this screening in the hopes of providing an opportunity for our community to open a dialogue and work collaboratively to help create a healthy, supportive environment for our children. that!?) Following the movie, there will be a panel of representatives from administration, teachers, students, and the medical field available for questions. This may be the best 2 hours you spend all week. Please join the conversation!

Proposed draft versions of school calendars for the 2012-2013, 2013-2014, and 2014-2015 school years are currently being reviewed for adoption by the Avon Lake Board of Education. Please click on the school year of interest to view two proposed draft calendars for each school year. Please note that the official calendars have not been adopted by the Board of Education and are under consideration at this time. Kindergarten registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be held at our four elementary schools this spring.
